This blog isn't about me being hungry.... it's about me dealing with the addiction, and how surprised I am at how much fast food is a comfort food.

Last night, I had Tag throw out a half full two liter of coke in our kitchen (so I couldn't cheat). As i heard the 'glug glug' of it going down the drain, i found myself sitting on my kitchen floor crying. I'm just processing on so many levels right now, it's hard.

As to the Turtles... Drex has been AMAZING in the last 24 hours. She's not heading towards the Galapagos, but she did dive over 2,200 feet (half a mile!) She's definately a toughie, that turtle girl.

P.S. Also, in regards to nuts... i'm way ahead of you. At my desk are two LARGE bags of Organic unsalted Almonds and Cashews. My mom taught me that trick. ;)Yummyteecehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04746686139341156241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13930590.post-46010459194955277002007-04-24T21:10:00.000-07:002007-04-24T21:10:00.000-07:00Eat nuts! A handful is amazingly satisfying (and healthy) by itself and they dress up salads amazingly, delightfully. I know you like salads. I also depend on unsalted dry roasted peanuts. They are especially satisfying in yogurt, but since that is dairy and off limits, how about soy yogurt?? I have never actually eaten any but I know Soy Silk milk is excellent, their yogurt probably is too.

Sending you good vibes for success!! And while I am sending good vibes out into the what-do-you-call-it----it's after midnite and all I can think of is ozone or atmosphere and neither is what I am looking for, I'll send some more good vibes to the Drexie turtle chick who was headed the wrong way.

Keep on keeping on---to you two and to her too. I'm pulling for all of you. I believe in you!!sundaycyncehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07055477023384793539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13930590.post-74972970333800964452007-04-24T11:44:00.000-07:002007-04-24T11:44:00.000-07:00I feel your pain. Bookie's been pushing a healthier diet on me, but all of her suggested "healthy" meals taste like furnature cleaner to me.

I hope you and Tag make it through your detox without setting anything on fire. The Bizzahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17797871556831556557noreply@blogger.com
